Algerian Qatari Steel Company Receives Certification for Rebar Products in the Baltic States
As part of its comprehensive marketing strategy and pursuit of expansion into new international markets, AQS has obtained conformity certification for its reinforcement iron products in the Baltic States.
This achievement will enable the company to market its reinforcement iron products in the northernmost countries of Europe. The certification from the International Accreditation Body 'KIWA' enables the Algerian Qatari Steel Company to sell reinforcement iron in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. This allows them to enter new markets with strict quality and marketing standards.
The attainment of this prestigious certification from the International Accreditation Body "KIWA" reaffirms the outstanding accomplishments of "A Q S" during this year, reflecting the professional business approach of "AQS" management.

Our iron product exports have exceeded 320 thousand tons, approximately $200 million, during the first quarter of the current year. Algerian Qatari Steel Company is a major producer of reinforcement iron and iron wire coils, in addition to a diverse range of secondary products. Established in 2013, the company commenced production in 2017, gradually increasing its workforce to 2600 employees today. It holds several certifications, including ISO integrated quality management systems. Recently, it obtained a certification for reinforcement iron products and iron wire coil from the British authority "CARES UK," as well as a certification for reinforcement iron products specific to Poland.
