
The Algerian Qatari Steel Company Sponsors the Construction and Renovation of Al-Nour Mosque and the Qur'anic School of Mridja in El Milia
Algerian Qatari Steel Company has signed an agreement with the Directorate
of Religious Affairs and Endowments of Jijel Province to construct and renovate
Al-Nour Mosque and the Qur'anic School of Mridja. The signing ceremony was
attended by Mr. Youssef Ahmed Al-Muhannadi, General Manager of the Algerian
Qatari Steel Company; Mr. Ahmed Taghlissia, Director of Religious Affairs and
Endowments of Jijel; the Secretary-General of the Provincial Union; company
directors; the President of the Municipal People's Assembly; members of the
mosque's religious association; and mosque attendees.
Under the agreement, the company will finance
the completion of construction works and both the interior and exterior
renovation of the mosque, including the construction of two minarets. This
contribution by the Algerian Qatari Steel Company reaffirms its commitment to
its social and developmental role in serving the local community.
It
is worth noting that the project will involve a comprehensive rehabilitation of
the current mosque, expanding its capacity and upgrading its facilities in
accordance with modern architectural and aesthetic standards for mosques.
