Commemoration of the Double Anniversary of Hydrocarbon Nationalization and the Founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers
In conjunction with the anniversary of the nationalization of hydrocarbons and the founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers, a celebration was held on February 24, 2025, under the supervision of the Governor of Jijel, Mr. Ahmed Meklati, in the grand hall of the Algerian Qatari Steel Company.
The event was attended by Deputy General Manager Mr. Sofiane Chaib Setti, Secretary-General of the Provincial Union Mr. Mourad Atik, security and military authorities, local officials, a member of the National Civil Society Observatory, the revolutionary family, and the company's union secretary-general, Mr. Mohammed Khenchil.
The celebration also included a tribute to a group of workers and retired employees, recognizing their dedication and contributions.
This event comes at a time when Algeria’s industrial sector continues to make significant progress, reflecting the Algerian-Qatari Steel Company’s unwavering commitment to supporting the country’s sustainable economic development.
