Educational visit of the Economic Prosperity Club students from the University of Jijel to the Algerian Qatari Steel complex
As part of its openness to the academic environment and its efforts to strengthen cooperation bridges with universities, Algerian Qatari Steel welcomed a delegation of students from the University of Jijel – Economic Prosperity Club – accompanied by their supervising professors, for a scientific field visit to the Bellara complex.
This visit allowed students to closely observe the different stages of production, particularly the manufacturing and shaping processes of rebar and wire rod coils. The company’s engineers provided precise and insightful technical explanations regarding the advanced technologies used in the steel industry.
The tour included several key stations within the complex, notably the control room of the direct reduction unit, the melting unit, and the rolling unit, enabling students to gain a comprehensive overview of the industrial production chain.
This practical experience represents a valuable addition to the students’ academic path, as it enhances their scientific knowledge and develops their practical skills, supporting their future professional readiness in the industrial sector.
