Algerian Qatari Steel grants 30 Umrah pilgrimages to the Holy Sites to its employees
In a move that reflects its human-centered vision and commitment to its workforce, Algerian Qatari Steel has awarded thirty (30) Umrah pilgrimages to the Holy Sites to its employees. This initiative comes as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen the spirit of belonging and solidarity among its workers, and to promote noble human values within the workplace environment.
A special ceremony was organized for the awarding of these pilgrimages, attended by company directors, Mr. Mourad Aitik, Wilaya Secretary of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), Mr. Mohamed Khanchil, General Secretary of the company’s trade union, and Mr. Foudil Boudraoui, Chairman of the Participation Committee, as well as the employees registered for the Umrah draw. A raffle was held, resulting in 30 winning employees receiving a pilgrimage to the Holy Sites. Joy and happiness were clearly visible on the faces of the winners, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the company for this generous initiative.
This step confirms the strong care that AQS dedicates to its employees, extending beyond the professional aspect to include personal and spiritual dimensions as well. This contributes to building an environment of trust, understanding, and cooperation within the workplace.
