As part of its social program and in its capacity as a responsible corporate citizen, Algerian Qatari Steel distributed 1,000 Ramadan food parcels to underprivileged and needy families on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan 2024, in collaboration with local charitable associations in the El Milia district.
The official launch of the operation was led by the Deputy General Manager, Mr. Sofiane Chaib Setti, who oversaw the inspection of the parcels and their contents before the distribution process began. The distribution was organized to cover various areas across the El Milia district in Jijel Province, ensuring that assistance reached the largest possible number of families in need.
The aid packages included essential food items, distributed by AQS in coordination with local associations. The operation was carried out under the supervision of the company’s teams, who ensured that all parcels were delivered to their rightful beneficiaries across the greater El Milia district.
This initiative is part of the company’s sustainable corporate social responsibility policy, through which Algerian Qatari Steel reaffirms its commitment to supporting the community and assisting vulnerable families, while continuing its collective efforts to serve society during this blessed month.
