Scientific Visit of Jijel University Students to Algerian Qatari Steel: A Hands-on Industrial Immersion
A group of students from the University of Jijel, specializing in Metallurgical Engineering, accompanied by their professors, conducted a scientific visit to the Algerian Qatari Steel complex in Bellara, aiming to explore the latest technologies and production processes used in the steel industry.
During the visit, the students closely observed the various stages of manufacturing and shaping rebar and wire rod, while receiving detailed technical explanations from the company’s engineers regarding production processes and advanced technologies implemented across the plant.
This practical experience represents a significant added value, strengthening the students’ academic knowledge and enriching their understanding of the steel industry, ultimately contributing to the development of their professional skills and future career path.
